Party Games for UK Hot Tubs | Cool Home Shop

Playing games in a hot tub puts a whole new slant on both game playing and hot tubs. As water-based parties become more popular during the spring and summer months, even in the UK hot tubs can be enjoyed for a variety of games to keep guests happy. Games for the hot tub range from naughty adult games to family-friendly board and party games, with a few being specifically for hot tub high jinx (e.g., Splash Bomb).

Board Games

Floating game boards make it possible to play games such as chess or draughts in the hot tub. The game board is a floating tray that can pass between players, with game pieces or counters that stay put until the players move them.

Card Games

Oversized plastic playing cards with transparent sections are especially designed for hot tub gameplay. You can buy either standard decks of cards or specialised ones such as cards and chips to play poker.

Another popular card game for use in the hot tub, especially with kids, is the family favourite, Uno. As Uno is best played with four people it is the ideal game for families to play together in a small hot tub. Getting kids to play games in the hot tub is a fun way to get them to try new things, or to help small children practise new skills such as learning to cooperate and share with each other.

If you?re going to play card or board games in the hot tub, a useful accessory would be a floating table, on which you can place drinks or snacks. It can also be used to roll the dice.

Action Games

Games that involve movement and quick reactions are fun for everyone, including both kids and adults. Games such as Splash Bomb are popular across the board and can get a little rowdy. Splash Bomb is a specially made game that consists of a water-filled balloon (the bomb) inside a device with a timer. The timer is set and then the device is rapidly passed between the players until the countdown reaches zero and the bomb explodes.

Other items that can give fun in the hot tub include lightweight dumbbells, rubber ducks including hot tub thermometers topped with fish or dolphins as well as ducks and, of course, old-fashioned traditional bath toys such as boats. Kids will find it especially good fun to take their bath toys into the hot tub.
